Remembering Jim Brown: The Legendary Football Player, Activist, and Icon

Jim Brown, one of the greatest professional and college football players of all time, has passed away at the age of 87.

Played nine seasons for the Cleveland Browns from 1957 to 1965

Over his career, he rushed for 12,312 yards and averaged 5.2 yards per carry

Brown named a Pro Bowler every year he played and won the league championship in 1964.  Named MVP  3 times

Brown retired at the age of 30 to focus on his movie career and social issues. Since his retirement, no Browns player has worn his No. 32.

Brown was not only a football player but also an activist and actor.
